If you've stopped by Swagbucks lately you may have noticed things have changed a little. Well, Swagbucks rolled out a new design for their second birthday. It's hard to believe they're only two years old.

I'll only cover the major changes here. To learn about the rest check out the blog post from Swag Bucks. First, you now have 10 times more swagbucks in your account! Don't get too excited yet, the prizes are also 10 times more expensive.

When searching instead of getting 1's and 2's, you can now win even more swagbucks, but in 10's and and 20's! Not only does it make things sound better, you also win more often! Below are what some of the new Swag Bucks look like, as for the rest... You'll have to win those to find out. Also, the store has been redone and there is a completly new section with plenty of new Swagstakes.

For those of you with referrals, don't panic yet. Instead of the 100 buck limit, it is now at 1,000 bucks. So you aren't loosing out. Over the next few month Swag Bucks will continue to roll out the changes to swagbucks.com. (and i'll try and keep up with those changes here at my site). I can't wait to find out what Swag Bucks has in store for the coming year!

As the year winds to an end, I had some time to update my site. I added a page about special offers from Swagbucks, and a contact me page as well as updating and correcting a few pages. I’ve also released another proof video as well as an intro video for the how it works page. I also want to say thank you to all my referrals, I couldn't have done it without you.

It’s been a great year with Swabgucks; everything from new prizes, to special offers, a facebook page and a widget. And some of you might like the new Amazon Kindle Swagstake that is going on now.

Personally I’ve received over $800 dollars in Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks this year. (Thank you Swagbucks!) With all the great improvements they’ve had this year, I can’t wait to see what the New Year brings!

Even though I haven't updated in a while doesn't mean that nothing is happeneing in the Swagbuck world. I'll try and keep up with it more often, though college keeps me busy.

The first big news is that facebook and swagbucks can now be connected! Once you connect it will post everytime you win a swagbucks, get a refferal, or cash out for a prize! The best part is every post includes a referral link for people to sign up. Oh yeah, and if you connect your account before Dec. 1st, you get 1 free swgbuck!.

For those of you who like getting good deals while shopping, this is for you. Starting on Black friday and running till Jan. 1st 2010 Swagbucks is lowering the price of one gift card each day! This means you have to pay attention to the Swagbucks blog each day, but it also means you can save a lot of swagbucks! (sorry I missed the first two days of the sale)

Well, I didn't think it would take me this long to get my site updated. After getting my new laptop it took forever to reinstall software and get all my documents transferred. But I'll be able to update the site more often now. Though thankfully the swag nation wasn't too busy with new things.....

Though that doesn't mean that nothing happened. At the beginning of Sep. the new toolbar was released. It is much nicer than the old one, and more useful. Check it out and then install it! What made it even better was during the entire month of Sep. the Swag Guy released a code each day (sorry, i didn't post that during Sep.)

. Other than that Swagbucks is still being awesome and giving away more prizes and even better prizes! There's even a few new Swagstakes that are worth checking out.

For those of you who have visited my site before, you might have stopped by the tutorial section. I didn't have much there, but I finally created a video about posting the Swidget (Swagbuck Widget). Check it out, if you like it open the Youtube page and give it a good rating. If you have a question either leave a comment on youtube or send an email to swagsite@gmail.com Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, notice the intro, that's my new signature for my swagbuck videos. I have another proof video in the making, though i'm not sure when i'll get it up.

On the Swagbucks.com front, there isn't too much new stuff..... but there is a hint at what's to come in the future. Check out this swagbucks.com blog post about what they are planning next year. Some of it sounds great!

I'm not sure the next time I'll be able to update this site. I move to a new college in a week, and I get a new laptop (Which means I have to move my local version of the site, install needed software... etc) I updated most of the stuff today, so if you find any problems with the site, let me know. .

When the official swidget came out some people complained that it was too wide to fit nicely on the side of their blog. I created the Swag Buck Counter, but the Swag Nation needed something even better. Well, after lots of waiting, may I introduce the Mini-Swidget. It looks similar to the swidget, but this is something I created.

It works a lot like the swidget, though some things have change. You can still search and see the prizes from the widget. There is an option for people to sign up (which gives you a referral). It also automatically tells you if there is a Swag Code out.

For those of you who like Swagstakes (Swagbucks Sweepstakes), there is now an easier (and cheaper!) way to enter them. It used to be you had to go back and do each entry separately. Now you can there is an option to enter multiple times without going back again and again. The screenshot to the left is an example of the new options. The great thing is that the more you buy, the bigger the discount you receive!

The other news is that during the entire month of August your Cell phone trade-in value is doubled, and your video trade-in is worth 20 % more! That’s great new for those of you who have old cell phones to trade in.

Many of you have been using myspace for a long time. Well, Swagbucks finally joined in to create an official swagbucks myspace page (known as Swagspace). Also, Swagbucks updated their promote banners. Now it's a lot easier to choose one. Plus they added a few more banners.

On a much minor note I redid the website again, I like the newer layout and it should stay like this.

I’m pleased to announce that this news post comes with two good updates. First, of all swagbucks now has Paypal gift cards in the swag store! It’s like getting money for your swagbucks, check it out!

Secondly, I’ve created a swagbuck widget that’s perfect for a blog or website. Several people complained that the official swagbuck widget was too large to fit on their site. So, I came up with this widget. All it does is create a referral link and show how many swag bucks you currently have! The great news is that it actually displays the real number of swag bucks you have! It uses the same data that the Swidget does. Click here to learn more about my new widget.
